 Directed by: Kristin Collins Synopses: Kris Kringle is the personification of good will and holiday spirit. As Macy’s holiday
Santa, he enchants children and shoppers so completely that he is deemed dangerous by fellow employees who question his competency
and plot to ruin him. A small girl’s belief in Santa and the magic of the holiday is at stake in a climactic courtroom
decision. This hilarious, tender, and charming how for the entire family is a Christmas classic. Auditions

6:00 pm to 7:30 pm Where: Valley Center Primary School, Mulitpurpose Room (14249 Fruitvale Rd, Valley Center, CA) For
audition appointments, email KCollinsdirector@gmail.com with your preferred date of audition, a headshot and actor bio. Your email will be replied to with an audition time. Please come prepared with a one minute monologue and a headshot.
CAROLERS: Although this
production is not a musical, there will be a group of carolers put together for the production. Carolers will sing during
the production and in the lobby during intermission. Carolers may also be cast in supporting roles in the production. Please
bring a 30-60 second holiday piece to sing at the audition that showcases the vocal range you are most comfortable singing
in. Please bring your own accompaniment because none will be provided. Also be prepared to learn a few bars of music during
call backs. Show Dates: December 3rd, 4th, 5th & December
10th, 11th, 12th Rehearsals start October 3rd
Cast of Characters: Kris Kringle: A kindly older gentleman who may or may not be Santa Claus. Susan Walker:
An 8-10 year old girl who doesn’t believe in fairy tales, but
would like to learn how. Doris Walker: Susan’s mother, Doris works
as a coordinator for Mr. Macy. She is good at her job and a realist. She has been hurt before and does not want love in her
life. Fred
Gailey: Fred is the Walker’s neighbor.
He cares deeply for the Walker family, and would like to help Doris give love another chance. Mr Shellhammer: Mr Shellhammer has worked for Mr Macy for a long time. He is very eager and helpful, but doesn’t
usually have any ideas of his own. Miss Adams: Miss Adams is Doris
Walker’s assistant. She is very efficient and the two of them work smoothly together. Mr Sawyer: Mr Sawyer is the psychiatrist on staff for Macy’s. He is rather pompous and has a touch
of paranoia. Judge Harper: Judge Harper is a kindly gentleman
who is due for reelection. He simply wants to do the right thing and has been dragged into the case. He tends to think the
best of people. Supporting Cast: Mr Mara (the prosecuting atterny) Cleo (the Walker’s
housekeeper) Dr Pierce (the Dr in charge of Maplewood home) Jim (the zookeeper) Mr Macy Mr Gimble Dutch Girl Tommy Mara (Mr Mara’s son) Dr Rogers & Assistant Finley (bailiff) Charlie (Judge Harper’s
advisor and friend) Mrs. HarperLou & Al (the post office
